First up from the hit property is the personification of the Japanese aircraft carrier AKAGI! This Ani*Statue version of the Imperial Japanese Navy Amagi-class battlecruiser converted to an aircraft carrier brings to life the Akagi (“Red Castle”) as you’ve never seen before, translating the vessel into a beautiful and unique woman. She dances across the water, one foot gently touching the rippling surface while a clear geyser helps support the nautical components behind her. Akagi is larger than life with her complex, billowing kimono outfit consisting of multiple layers and different “fabrics,” vulpine details like pointed ears and a full fan of fox tails, and even aircraft carrier deck boards floating behind her! The intricate details of her sculpt are matched by incredible paint effects, and translucent plastic in key locations gives the figure a stunning appearance that catches the light in subtle ways. Sculpted by HIDE, Akagi stands over 11 inches tall (1/7 scale) on her eye-catching translucent water base.
